Created for Backroads Deli in Door County, The Long Return explores migration, memory, and homecoming through a landscape inspired by the region’s shoreline and wildlife.

Sandhill cranes, loons, swans, and monarch butterflies move across layered skies above a familiar Door County landscape. Designed to transform the building into a recognizable landmark, the mural connects local ecology, storytelling, and architecture.
